Grants and Awards

  • 2022: British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship. Amount awarded: £346,068.62. Farming and the rise of wealth inequality in the southern Levant during the Bronze (3,600-1,550 BCE) and Iron Ages (1,550-332 BCE).

  • 2022: Stichting Nederlands Museum voor Anthropologie en Praehistorie, Subsidie A – klein onderzoek. Amount awarded: € 4.350. Using stable isotope (δ15N and δ13C) analysis of human, animal and seed remains from Troy and Kumtepe to investigate the ‘Dark Age’ of Anatolian prehistory and first urban centers of the Bronze Age (5500-2600 BCE).
